Most horrific Holy Hoax tale yet: Per Joseph Hertz, Chief Rabbi of the British Empire: "Nazis used babies as balls for soccer/football matches"!

Douglas Reed quoted the following Holy Hoax tale in his 1943 book Lest We Regret.

On December 16, 1942, in his column in the Daily Herald, Hannen Swaffer quoted verbatim from the manuscript of an address made by Joseph Hertz, Chief Rabbi of the British Empire.

Hannen Swaffer

WAR'S WORST HORROR

DELIBERATELY I omitted from my report if the Chief Rabbi's address last Sunday, the most sensational paragraphs.

I could not hear them clearly enough. I wanted to see the manuscript and to know the source of his information.

For, as Dr Hertz himself said, some of the stories sound "unbelievable." Yet so is all Nazidom!

Babies As Footballs !

HERE, copied from the Chief Rabbi's manuscript, is a verbatim extract:—

"On July 27 all the Jewish inhabitants of a town near Kiev were ordered to the stadium. The women, of whom there were about 500, were instructed to hold their little children in their arms.

A few minutes after we had all assembled, an eyewitness declares, a group of German soldiers in football attire entered the stadium. They snatched the infants from their mothers' arms and used them as footballs, bouncing and kicking them around the arena.

Soon the ground was drenched with blood and the stadium was filled with anguished cries of women driven insane as they saw their children being murdered before their eyes."

Neroism Reborn

NEVER since the days of the martyrdom of Christians in the Colosseum by Nero has such a story been told.

Yet Dr. Hertz never allows himself to be led into over-statement, even in the flash of oratory. He is most most reserved in his utterance.

He spoke too as the religious head of a great community and in the presence of its leaders—M.P.s. University professors, doctors of distinction and the Lord Mayor of London.

He would not jeopardise, I know, a case presented to the world by one exaggeration.

Voice of Authority

WHAT is the Chief Rabbi's authority? He has quoted a story told to the Soviet newspapers by Abraham Fivusovitch, a 26-year-old Russian soldier now fighting on the Stalingrad front. He gives the name of the village—Pogrehistchi.

It is now circulated by the World Jewish Congress, which is urging the United Nations to action in the vain hope of minimising the Horror [sic], and of the British section of which the Marchioness of Reading is president, and Professor Brodetsky, Jewry's first Senior Wrangler, and Philip Guedalla vice-presidents.

  1. Dear sir,

I see that you say you are Christian, based on your profile. I ask you: How can you call yourself a Christian when you have so much hatred for God's chosen people? Aren't you aware that Jesus himself is Jewish?

I really want to hear your answer.

    1. Jesus is not a Jew. Jews are not God's chosen people. What are you?

    2. Jesus said that the Pharisees were of their father, the devil, and he reiterated the point by then saying that they were not of God (John 8:44-47). The Pharisees became what we know today as Judaism.

It would be more accurate to say that Jesus was ethnically a Hebrew, but "Hebrew" is not a religion. We know today that the Hebrews have changed their religion more than once. For example, Israel worshiped El while Judah worshiped Yahweh. The Yahwist cult came to power when the kingdoms united, and El (God Most High) was ignored in favor of Yahweh. There were then a number of sects doing different things. You then had the Pharisees, which accepted the changes that came before them and added the oral tradition. Modern Judaism is far removed from the original religion, and Jesus spoke to the fact that they had lost their way.

  3. I went to a soccer match once, where the game was so dull and boring that after the match was over the referee ordered the players back on to the field in order to entertain the spectators with a kick-about involving puppies and kittens tied up in sacks.

It was certainly an entertaining spectacle, even though half the spectators were throwing-up in disgust, while the other half chased the referee round the pitch, tied a noose round his neck and hung him from the goal-post!

But seriously, isn't it pathetic and unworthy for the top leader of a major religious group - such as the Chief Rabbi of the British Empire - to pick up some grotty piece of Soviet war-time propaganda, and use his illustrious position to repeat it in a public address to the British nation.

The Soviet report is totally uncorroborated by any other source. Just one 26 year old Russian soldier made this claim, and he was serving on the Stalingrad Front at the time - which was well over 1,000 kilometres away from the Kiev region, so how could he have known about this event. It is alleged to have taken place at a town which he could not possibly have had any communication with, as it lay deep inside German Occupied territory.

But note the name of the Soviet soldier involved - ABRAHAM Fivusovitch - obviously Jewish, and his report was circulated around the world by the World Jewish Congress.

I typed in the name of the Ukrainian town - POGREHISTICHI - on Google Earth, but "surprise-surprise" the message came back - "We could not understand the location". (In other words the town doesn't exist!). But you can rest assured that the first four letters of the town name - POGR - were deliberately chosen by the fabricators of the story to hint at the the idea of a "pogrom".
